The Adirondacks
NewVida Preserve
This beautiful, affordable spot in the Adirondacks is just minutes from Whiteface and is such a great spot to stay all year round. Highly recommend eating dinner at their restaurant too!
Lake Placid
Mirror Lake Inn
For a bougier place to stay, you can’t beat the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. It’s got stunning views of the lake and is just a short walk into downtown. Plus, they have a spa, pool, gym, and restaurants.
The Catskills
Phoenicia Lodge
Gorgeous dog-friendly cabins located just a few minutes from the super charming village of Phoenicia, with great hikes and skiing just a short drive away.
Buffalo, NY
InnBuffalo at Elmwood
Such a special spot in a flawlessly renovated historic building with spacious, cozy suites. Plus, it’s walking distance to Buffalo’s amazing Elmwood Village.
My Technology Setup
DJI Pocket Osmo 3
This is the primary camera that I use to film all my videos. It shoots in 4k and is so light and packable and just easy to use. It even has a built in stabilizer. I love love love it.
SONY RX100 VII
For photography or close-ups, this camera is so amazing. It’s durable and the technology truly holds up over the years. An older model of this camera was the very first camera I ever bought!
DJI Neo Drone
This tiny little drone is so lightweight and easy to carry around. It is hard to use when it’s windy and functionality is limited, but with the affordable price tag I highly recommend it.
DJI Mic Mini
I was getting a lot of complaints that my audio quality in my videos wasn’t great, so I invested in these and I’ll never look back. Such a great hack for crisp audio!
